About SSC CGL 2024 (Tier I & Tier II) Mock Test
The Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) examination is a highly competitive and prestigious examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in India. It is held annually to recruit candidates for various Group B and Group C posts in government ministries, departments, and organizations.

SSC CGL Overview
SSC CGL is conducted once a year, the notification and other relevant information can be found on the official website of SSC i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/ . The eligibility criteria for SSC CGL is a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university, in some posts, there might be age limit so read the notification carefully. The exam is held in 2 Tiers.
SSC CGL Tier 1
Preliminary Examination is a computer-based objective type exam, it consists of 100 questions divided equally into 4 subjects which are General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The maximum mark for the tier 1 exam is 200 so it is 2 marks for every question. There is a negative marking as well as 0.5 marks. It means for every correct answer you will be awarded 2 marks and for every wrong answer marked you will be penalised by -0.5 marks. So while preparing keep negative markings in mind.
Syllabus for SSC CGL Tier 1
The syllabus for SSC CGL Tier 1 includes four sections: 1) General Intelligence and Reasoning, which tests candidates’ cognitive abilities and logical reasoning skills; 2) General Awareness, covering topics like current affairs, history, geography, and general science; 3) Quantitative Aptitude, assessing mathematical and numerical ability; and 4) English Comprehension, evaluating language and comprehension skills. Each section is crucial for the overall assessment, and candidates need to prepare thoroughly to succeed in the Tier 1 examination of the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) exam.
SSC CGL Tier 2
Following the completion of the initial examination, preparations must be made for the Tier-2 Exam of the SSC CGL 2024. The Main Exam will be administered online and comprises objective multiple-choice questions, except for Module II (Data Entry Speed Test) in Section III of Paper I.
Syllabus for SSC CGL Tier 2
SSC CGL Tier 2 paper-I will be conducted in two sessions – Session I & Session II, on the same day and is compulsory for all candidates who qualify in Paper 1. Section I, Section II, and Module I of Section III will all be conducted during Session I. Module II of Section III will be conducted during Session II. The candidates must meet the requirements for each section of Paper I. I recommend reading the SSC CGL tier 2 syllabus carefully to get a complete understanding.
